MarketMastorTM Demonstration

MarketMastor™ is a tool that evaluates coal quality, utilisation performance and value-in-use of coals in plants around the world. The video demonstrates newly developed capabilities in MarketMastor that can be utilised to develop technical marketing strategies. The strategy is developed by utilising international power plant, cement plant and steelworks databases (see map below), port and shipping database, and coal trade database to:

  • Prioritise countries / regions which have an inherent freight advantage.
  • Competitor analysis to identify your strengths and weaknesses.
  • Shortlist plant designs that can utilise up to 100% of the product.
  • Develop a technical marketing argument that underpins the value-in-use of the coal into markets that maximise return.
  • Rank shortlisted plants by the likelihood of sales and the potential demand per plant.
  • Evaluate blends of coals into targeted plants.

One of the deliverables from the evaluation is a shortlist of plants for targeted marketing. This not only saves you time selecting plants to market to, but also increases the probability of coal acceptance by the power plant.

The MarketMastorTM video develops a hypothetical scenario to demonstrate this capability.
